Drumming is an ancient musical tradition that many cultures around the world use to energize, build unity, focus attention, relax, and heighten creativity.  A community drum circle is a group of people who come together to make in-the-moment music.  No musical experience is necessary and beginners are always welcome.  A facilitator will be present to help participants feel comfortable and learn basic drumming techniques.  Bring your own drum or feel welcome to use one of ours.  No need to register – Just show up!  Community Drum Circle is on the third Wednesday of each month from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.

A musical story time for families with children from birth to 6 years old. Join us for stories with a beat, toe-tapping tunes, instruments, dancing, and parachute fun. Preregistration is required by calling the Main Library at 440-244-1192 or 1-800-322-READ, ext. 246.
