08/16/2008 - Sunset Festival
City: Lorain

Starts   12:00 PM
Ends   9:00 PM

The Sunset Festival was started in 1982 at Lakeview Park in Lorain. This festival was held at the end of the summer to celebrate community, culture and beautiful sunsets. Lakeview Park was and is a great place for a celebration with the magic of its beach, fountain, rose garden, lawn bowling area, the newly added Rose Café and its overall ambiance. We want to bring back this historical festival on August 16.

The Sunset Festival will be held from noon–9 pm at Lakeview Park. The festival will have fine artists, crafts, community groups, food and entertainment. There will be musical entertainment, children’s activities and performances all day. Come to “End Your Summer with a Sunset” at the Sunset Festival. The fee for the festival is one canned good that will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank to give back to the community.
