08/30/2008 - Bluegrass Jam
City: Lagrange
| Starts |
|
2:00 PM |
| Ends |
|
7:00 PM |
Lookin’ for an opportunity to hear some guitar pickin’, banjo pluckin’, boot stompin’ music from some local talent? Come on down to the Carlisle Reservation for our free Bluegrass Jam event! A few local bands will headline the afternoon’s show into the early evening hours, while others will be welcomed to fill in the “open mike” style jam sessions in-between. If the weather cooperates, we’ll be enjoying the jam outdoors in front of the Bandstand of the Carlisle Visitor Center. To keep the kids happy, there’ll be fun and games on the grounds nearby. To keep the hungry satisfied, food and refreshments will be on hand for a nominal fee. Tents and shaded areas will be available for those who want to cool off. Should it rain, we’ll move the Jam inside the building. This free event is open to all ages– so be sure to bring the whole family to join in the fun!
If you’re a guitar-picker or banjo-plucker interested in participating at this event, or just looking for more information about the Bluegrass Jam, call (440) 458-5121.
