The Black River Historical Society will be hosting “ A Taste of History” from noon until 9 p.m. The event will include “A Taste of History”, “Antiques, Arts and Crafts Show on the River”, "Car Show" and “Ohio Wine on the Water” wine tasting.

The Car show is a "peer-judging" contest with trophies awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The first 50 cars receive dash-plaques. Registration is $5. Contact Kevin Myers at 567-7229 for registration.

Admission is free for the “Antiques, Arts and Crafts Show on the River.” A few vendor spaces are still available. New vendors are welcome. For more information please call 440-245-2563.

The event is sponsored by the Lorain Port Authority and supported by the Lorain International Festival and Bazaar.
