Lorain County Metro Parks and TrueNorth Cultural Arts are pleased to announce they will be hosting Theatre Camps at French Creek Nature Center for ages 3-5, 6-8, 9-12 and 13 and up who are interested in acting, singing, dancing, and theatre tech.  French Creek Nature Center is located at 4530 Colorado Ave in Sheffield Village. 

Theatre Camps will include learning the aspects of the making of a theatrical production including acting, theatre tech, audition techniques, and more. Camps for ages 13 and up will include instruction on dancing and singing as well.  All the camps will end with a production.  Some that are already scheduled are “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” and “Hansel and Gretel.” Campers will also have other opportunities to perform at the Showcase of TrueNorth at Lakeview Park on June 20 and ArtsFest in Avon Lake on July 4^th.

            AGES 13 AND UP 5 WEEK THEATRE CAMP

July 13 – August 16

12:30 – 4:30 pm. Includes all the details that go into a theatrical production including theatre tech (including lights, sound, sets and costumes), acting, singing, dancing, playwright workshop, audition techniques and improvisation. At the end of the camp, campers will perform You're a Good Man Charlie Brown August 14, 15, and 16. Tuition:  $395.00
