View the flittering and fluttering of tiny wings as beautiful butterflies enjoy the summer flowers of French Creek Nature Center’s Butterfly Garden. Open daily July 1 through September 12 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., enjoy some of Ohio’s native butterflies, some of which have been caught in our own Metro Parks, as well as non-native species. These colorful and amazing creatures go through a unique metamorphosis to change from a caterpillar to a butterfly. Some of this process will take place in the garden as we wait for some butterflies to emerge from their chrysalis (moths spin a cocoon) and make their home in the garden.
Stop in for an opportunity to view the color and beauty of butterflies and learn how to attract them to your own garden at French Creek Nature Center’s Butterfly Garden.
