To Kill a Mockingbird has been described as funny, wise, compelling, and heartbreaking. It is a classic that all should see. Based on Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize winning book of the same name, To Kill a Mockingbird takes the audience to the Depression-era South and in to the lives of the Finch family: Atticus, Jem and Scout. Told through the eyes of Scout, Jem and Scout and their friend Dill enjoy the summers reenacting Dracula and trying to get a peek at the neighbor that leaves them gifts in a tree, Boo Radley. When their father, Atticus, is appointed to defend Tom Robertson, a young black man falsely accused of raping a white woman, Scout and Jem are faced with an ugly side of their town and the honorable side of their father.
