Lorain Mayor Tony Krasienko is coming to Lorain.com. “Meet the Mayor” is an outreach initiative that allows Lorain residents the ability to interact with the Mayor. The program also gives the Mayor the opportunity to update citizens on local programs and events. “Meet the Mayor” will be held on www.lorain.com (http://www.lorain.com//). There is a link on the Lorain.com homepage to “Meet the Mayor”. The Mayor's blog includes video and pictures and answers to residents’ comments and questions.
The first “Meet the Mayor” will be Wednesday, December 17<SUP>th</SUP> from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Residents can post questions and comments during this two-hour period. Afterwards, the Mayor will spend about 1 hour responding to the questions and comments. A schedule of future “Meet the Mayor” dates is posted on www.lorain.com (http://www.lorain.com//). Residents can read the mayor’s blog anytime, but questions and comments can only be submitted during the scheduled 2 hour sessions. “This program on Lorain.com is a great way for the City of Lorain to utilize technology to better serve its citizens”, says Mayor Krasienko.
