What to put on my FAFSA for work experience?

So I work part time for my uncle at his restaurant and get paid in cash; just like 20 to 40 dollars every time I work (so I pay no tax on it). And for college applications I have put in this job as work experience. However, now that I'm filling out my FAFSA for financial aid, I want to register as a dependent (on my parents) and say I do not work so I can get more financial aid. So what do I do? Will colleges find out if I put that I don't work on my FAFSA?
