"Subject: Mini Class Reunion July 24th, 2010
Marion L Steele Class of 1979, 31 Year Reunion!
Our reunion is set for July 24th, at Scott Lakes Park, Rt 58, Russia Twnsp, starting as early as 9am until 11pm.
Official start time is 12 noon July 24th, 2010.
We need to collect $475.00 by April 15th to secure the camp ground.
The cost “PER ADULT” will be determined by the response we get, $475.00 divided by number of adults.
Children under 18 are free.
If you would like to camp over night it will cost an additional $17.00 for each site with 4 people, this cost must be paid in advance with your reunion money. You may camp all weekend at $17.00 per night, if you want to camp Friday evening with Ken Daidone just tell the campground manager that your are with the reunion and they will give you a site reserved for the reunion.
If you camp over Saturday evening your site and area must be cleaned up before you leave-out by noon on Sunday.
This event is bring your own food and beverage, alcohol is permitted on the property!
Bring your own utensils, grilling utensils will be provided.
I was thinking that it would be nice if we each brought a dish to share.
We thought it would be nice to have a group dinner from 4pm -5pm.
We will have the grill hot all day so you are welcome to cook your food and eat at any time.
We have a few rules that we need to follow:
1. The hall and surrounding grounds must be cleaned up by 11pm. If we all pitch in this should be easy, clean as we go!
2. After 11pm it is quiet time! Camp ground rules.
3. No swimming in the lake
4. Fishing is allowed, catch and release only.
5. No illegal activities are permitted on the property.
The campground has a sand pit Volley Ball Court, Horse Shoes and of course fishing.
Ken would like to get a “friendly” game of football going…now this should be fun!
You may bring lawn chairs, coolers and whatever you need to be comfortable for the day.
There are indoor restrooms in the hall, and a bath house with toilets and showers.
Sounds like a very fun and relaxing day. We hope you all will join us!
As the registered number grows, then the price per person decreases. Please get in touch with either Ken Daidone or myself, Janet Syrowski Survance, we need to have a number count very soon of who is coming to figure out the cost per adult, as soon as we have this info we will pass it on to you! I will keep you informed.
