The race at this point in time is a three way race- one independent-Paula Tobias, one republican-John Romoser and one democrat-Tony Krasienko will face off on November 6, 2007.

Donald thank you for pointing out that there are currently three potential canidates for Mayor of Lorain in 2008. I have started a new thread, and created a new poll with each of these canidates on it to see who the public favors at this point.

I hope people vote wisely this election, especially if they want a better change in Lorain. Please research. Follow their money trail. Look at the baggage they carry. Lorain can't afford any more mistakes in the Mayors office.

You know folks we have a tradition of electing folks and then holding them accountable to what they have promised. We vote for them in hope they will be expert enough to handle all the stuff that comes up. Most of us stop asking questions and pushing for desired results after the votes are counted, because the chosen ones should do the job. This time around we want them to do things differently, we want change. The truth is we are the ones who need to change too. If we expect the Mayor to re-invent Lorain, it will not happen without our changing how we do things on our level. Businesses and residents all need to re-think Lorain and give the mayor something to work with. What do you think?
