To personalize your Lorain.com Forums Profile you will need to click on the User CP (Control Panel) link in the top left hand corner of the forums page.
Once you enter the User Control Panel you can choose from the following options:
Edit Signature (Learn how to post images in your signature! See Posting Images in Signature below)
Edit Email and Password
Edit Profile
Edit Options
Edit Avatar (Custom image can be 80 by 80 pixels or 19.4 KB whichever is smaller) [An Avatar is an image that can be seen beside your username when posting threads in any of the Lorain.com Forums]
Edit Profile Picture (Custom image can be 100 by 100 pixels or 64 KB whichever is smaller.) You can click on any of these options in the Control Panel (User CP) to personalize your profile!
Posting images in your signature:
1. You will need to resize your image to about 150 pixels with whatever resizing programming method you are comfortable with. You can use IrfanView, which is very easy to use and free http://www.tucows.com/preview/194967.html (http://www.tucows.com/preview/194967.html)
2. Use any Web Host program you are comfortable with to do whatever it is they do so that pictures can be downloaded to a message board. You can use Image Shack, again very easy to use and free www.imageshack.us/ (http://www.imageshack.us/)
3. If you use Image Shack, you will select the picture you want to use, after Image Shack is done doing whatever they do, you will see several options. Use the option under where it says Hotlink your image on your personal website or Auction
4. Using the copy and paste method, highlight and right click and copy the option stated above.
5. Go to your Control Panel (CP) in Lorain.com Forums and select edit your signature. Right click on paste where you want the image to be placed in your signature, don't forget to hit the update your signature button to save this new version of the signature.
Instructions to place multiple images in your signature:
1. Open up a blank Irfanview window.
2. Click on image, under that menu click on Create panorama image.
3. Click on Add images to pick the images, be sure that horizontal is checked.
4. Click on create image, then size width to 500 pixels
5. Host on image shack, and add to signature as usual
